JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Supervisor of Customer Account Administration, directs activities concerned with contracts for purchase or sale of equipment, materials, products or services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Following general instructions, with some discretion as to work details, Administers coordinates assigned activities involving the acceptance, monitoring and performance of complex contracts and subcontracts between company and customers/vendors. Participation in pre-contract discussions, contract negotiations and complex contract changes.

  • Reviews and analyzes contract documents to determine contractual obligations.

  • Monitors company performance for conformance to original proposal and maintains continual reviews to insure that all terms and conditions are met.

  • Provides necessary guidelines to a variety of line and staff levels regarding contract requirements.

  • Administers preparation and dissemination of information through the company regarding contract progress, status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination.

  • Reviews and interprets governmental regulations and other procurement requirements.

  • Makes or participates in special studies, investigations or analyses and issues reports as required.

  • May provide technical leadership to lower level contracts administration staff members.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s and 3 Years or equivalent experience; Or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work and life experience.

  • Knowledge of reviewing, understanding, and discussing complex customer contracts and purchase contracts, including General Terms Agreements (GTA), Product Support Agreements (PSA), and Non-Disclosure (or Proprietary Information) Agreements (NDA / PIA).

  • Experience with interfacing with customers.

  • Experience in MS Excel managing large spreadsheets, creating graphs, and using conditional formatting. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in fast-paced commercial aircraft aerospace industry highly preferred

  • Experience working with airframe manufacturers, airlines, and galley manufacturers

  • Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures/manuals.

  • Knowledge of JDE MRP system, including all order entry

  • Experience in solving practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in a dynamic work environment in order to meet deadlines.

  • Communicate effectively and confidently in verbal and written formats with all levels of personnel in various departments within the organization as well as with customers.
