As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Supervisor, Reliability Engineering in our Refrigeration Products business located in Anaheim, CA.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the successful candidate will:
Develop Reliability Requirements for systems/components
Develop reliability predictions
Lead programs’ FMEA efforts and recommend changes to design
Develop tests programs, plans, procedures, and reports for HALT, ALT, ESS, Endurance, and other Reliability Growth Testing
Review collected field failure data for sustaining and new product improvements
Supervisor Reliability Engineers.
Plans and supervises the work of a staff of professional engineers and technicians to accomplish specific engineering projects.
Directs work assignments, scheduling, and reviews of work in progress.
Handles personnel actions including performance reviews, salary recommendations, and coordination of training and development.
Reviews technical feasibility of proposed solutions to engineering problems.
Personally helps solve particularly difficult technical problems.
Leads the product teams and sustaining engineers in root cause and corrective action processes.
Performs other related duties as required.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or related engineering field from a four year college or university
Five (5) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience in leading, managing or supervising a team
Knowledge of system design approach to reliability
Previous experience in aerospace or automotive industry
Experience with test programs, plans, procedures and reports for HALT, ALT, ESS, Endurance and Reliability Growth Tests
Experience with reviewing failure data for sustaining and new product improvements
Previous Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and design control practices
Working knowledge of MIL - Handbook 217
Previous Fault Tree Analysis experience in Systems and subsystems.
