Our Philippines facility, being the first B/E manufacturing site in Asia, is engaged in manufacturing and assembly of Lavatory, Galley and Galley Insert products for the commercial aircraft segment.


As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Eng II - Design (Electrical) in our Refrigeration business located in FPIP, Tanauan Batangas, Philippines.


Job Responsibilities

The Eng II - Design (Electrical) has the following duties:

  • Perform basic modeling, drafting base on B/E standards under direct supervision of team lead.

  • Designs electrical systems in cooperation with system engineers

  • Generates, review and maintains functional and electrical requirements

  • Integrates electronics with embedded software

  • Performs system safety analysis, including hazard assessment and fault tress analysis

  • Develops requirements for electrical test facilities

  • Understand certification requirements with respect to design

  • Provide Engineering Change Request (ECR) Analysis and create Enterprise Change Notice (ECN)

  • Initiate Problem Reports (PR) and proposed solutions

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain and other areas

  • Managing and meeting cost and weight targets

  • Participating in the validation of the product (using such methods as prototyping, test, DFMEA)

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrated engineering experience to create effective engineered solutions and to provide design input to other team members

  • Good understanding of system, analog , and digital design

A good understanding of:

  • manufacturing capabilities and limitations

  • methods of assembly employed by Operations

  • material selection

  • protective treatments

  • best practice for the integration of mechanical and electrical systems

  • Excellent Computer skills

  • Good team work & can work with minimum supervision

  • Highly analytical & very keen on details

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Preferably with experience in CAD/CATIA V5/NX or other complex CAD software application

  • Preferably with experience in Altium, Orcad, and other software application

  • Preferably with experience in Team Center software application

A good understanding of:

  • aircraft interior architecture with a working knowledge of Boeing, Airbus requirements

  • effective application of tolerances and GD&T

  • awareness of the certification framework within which the work is undertaken

  • the companies change control process
