Job Summary

Based in our Brighton office this position will be reporting into the Head of Operations for our Bag drop Business Unit and will be supporting our EMEA airports group.

Job Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Analyse and document internal and external customer requirements,

  • Providing documents in an easily understandable format to the development teams

  • Document ISO processes using standard document templates

  • Manage internal documentation and certifications ensuring that these are kept up to date and processes are adhered to by all team members

  • Creation of and ensuring adherence to, the ARINC ISO processes by ensuring all documents are created, filed correctly and signed in accordance with ARINC guidelines.

  • Attend and produce minutes from project meetings and formal project reviews. Ensuring Actions are assigned and tracked to completion

  • Document the results of business analysis e.g. workflows, obtaining sign-off from clients on the agreed current and target processes or solutions.

  • Create or update customer documentation

  • Work in a collaborative way, contributing towards a culture of high quality and continuous improvement.

  • Support the Head of Operations and all colleagues within the team

  • Any other duties as might be required commensurate with the role and grading

  • The post-holder will carry out their duties in accordance with ARINC Health & Safety regulations

Basic Qualifications

Qualifications/Experience:

Technical/Professional

  • Proven systems and business analysis experience

  • Have an understanding of ISO processes.

  • Should possess excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Adaptable to work in an ever changing and demanding operational environment

  • Possess strong documentation creation, analytical and communication skills

Desired Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proven business analysis and customer service experience

  • Operational, technical or related airport/airline experience

  • Able to set priorities and manage workloads in order to meet deadlines whilst paying attention to detail

  • Able to be proactive and use initiative at all times
