We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Program Specialist to join our team in Carlsbad, CA (2110). A comprehensive relocation package is available for qualified candidates. Provides coordination and direction for production functions for assigned programs, and guides the activities of labor and material resources within operations to ensure the successful accomplishment of the production plan. Uses independent judgment to make decisions in day- to-day job responsibilities the majority of the time under general supervision.
Be a key member of the manufacturing team in assigned areas.
Carlsbad is a small site environment; assignments will be dynamic and cover a wide range of Manufacturing Engineering Skills, including:
New Product development and deployment into full production.
Quality, Cost and Productivity improvements on products already in full production and/or Service Operations.
Contributes to and sometimes leads cross-functional team activities related to attaining departmental goals.
Key team member defining technical problems and solutions in manufacturing environment.
Responsible to act as liaison with Design and Quality Engineering on incorporating changes that improve manufacturability.
Develop tools that enable mistake proof manufacturing, aid process improvement or address safety concerns.
Refers to policies and practices for guidance. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Responsible for validating cost requirements/targets against pertinent business plan(s) and programmatic expectations.

STEM Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline
