Job Summary

Do you want to have a direct impact on Rockwell Collins cash flow? Our team is looking for a self-motivated and confident Credit & Collections Specialist. This person will have the opportunity to form relationships with external customers. They will use these relationships to obtain payment status on outstanding invoices. They will also perform credit evaluation on customers determining credit limits and payment terms.

It is important that this person is self-motivated and can prioritize multiple demands. As you will be representing Rockwell Collins to external customers, excellent communications skills are a must.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responding to inquiries from customers and internal departments

  • Processing customer payments and deposits

  • Interacting with sales support, customer account administration, contracts, and customer in reconciling accounts

  • Providing recommendations to leadership on specific customer circumstances

  • Providing input for forecasting and variance reporting

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

  • Preferred experience with SAP

  • Credit & Collections experience is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Experience with JD Edwards also preferred
