Rockwell Collins is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Software Engineering position in the Tactical Communication and Maintenance Applications department. This position involves developing displays software for avionics and related products for multiple Missionized Rotary Wing Platforms.
Technical responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
-collaboration on software requirements and design
-implementing software, software requirements, test and design artifacts
-unit testing and software integration based on defined requirements and detailed design
The engineer should have an awareness of the entire engineering process and should be knowledgeable and skilled with a variety of development and test tools.
Candidates will be expected to independently perform multiple tasks given some support from a mentor.
Candidates are expected to be adaptable to change, determined to accomplish tasks based on program schedule, collaborate with teammates in order to make the best decisions, enjoy learning new technologies, be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment.

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline.
Clearance is NOT required
Knowledge of Ada, C++, DO178 High/Low Level Requirement and Test development practices, RCI Test Automation development practices
Knowledge of Python, unit testing, SCA or the ability to pick up these skills quickly
Familiarity with DOORs, Eclipse tools dna Plug-ins is desired
There may be travel associated with this position
