Job Summary

This position is for a Senior Systems Engineer on the Fighter and Vision Systems team in the Airborne Strike Platform Systems organization. The Fighter & Vision Systems team provides situational awareness capabilities to rotary wing, fixed wing, and surface customers in Government Systems markets. The team develops helmet mounted displays and digital goggle products by integrating sensors, processing and display capabilities to meet specific platform requirements. The FVS team transitions technologies from research and development into full production rate, qualified products.

Job Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities of this position include Helmet Mounted Display system and subsystem requirements analysis, definition, and validation; systems and subsystems integration and requirements verification testing; effective technical collaboration among systems, hardware and software design functions; assisting in resolving technical problems that cross functional domain areas of hardware and software; and supporting customer platform integration.

The candidate will serve as a technical leader for development and integration activities for vision system development project teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required

  • Must possess or be eligible for obtaining and maintaining a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance

  • 10% travel will be required
