This technical position is responsible for customizing the Rockwell Collins Airshow Moving Map In-Flight
Entertainment software. This includes developing, editing, testing, and releasing custom configurations
for both the business jet market and the air transport market.
Customize software configuration projects using internal proprietary software
Review customer product definition sheet and other technical specifications
Perform delegated quality testing and correct errors or refer work to other functional areas for correction.
Ability to work independently and under a reasonable timeframe
May work with other departments to ensure proper product definition requirements
Confer with application developers, management staff, and quality management to resolve production, quality, and testing issues
May help define and implement process improvement strategies
Will launch Airshow maps for testing through command prompts on test racks
Report any product issues via JIRA issues tool
Associate's degree in appropriate discipline, and two years of related experience, or, in the absence of an associate's degree, five years of related experience.
MySQL and Microsoft Access knowledge.
Basic Photoshop skills to manipulate, resize, adjust images.
Linux knowledge preferred, not required.
