We design to manufacture honeycomb composite panels and have build to print capabilities, as well as the ability to provide value added services, and custom details including curved panels. Our panels are used in lavatories, furniture, inflight systems within the aerospace industry. As part of the Advanced Lavatories and Cabin Interiors team (ALCI) selected for the Boeing 737 Modular Lavatory, we manufacture the panels for this 10 year $800 million contract.
As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Production Planner in our Interior Business Systems business located in Corona, CA.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Production Planner will plan and prepare production schedules based on forecast demands.
Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools and human resource requirements.
Prepares and monitors master schedules by working with materials planning, production, and maintenance personnel to coordinate activities.
Matches workload, manpower, and equipment capacity to existing inventory.
Maintains running accounts or orders received, work completed and inventory.
Confers with Supply Chain or material requirements and delivery dates.
Communicates with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
Communicates status changes to customer service.
Provides training and guidance to lower level planners or schedulers.
Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Prepares lists of required materials, tools and equipment.
Identifies process creation and/or improvement opportunities and strives for continuous improvement in the role and function.
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university and five to eight years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with MRP / ERP systems.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with MRP / ERP systems.
Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) structure.
Experience in a highly regulated industry, especially aerospace.
Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
Desire to identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead projects to make improvements to processes, procedures, etc.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders including Senior Leadership.
Demonstrated ability to build credibility with, interact with, and influence suppliers, customers, and key stakeholders; Ability to build strong relationships.
