Production, modification and maintenance of software and systems.
All stages of the software development life-cycle, planning, implementation, testing, documenting, deployment and maintenance.
Building web application back end systems including REST, RPC API's and database services.
Working closely with the team members.
Produce high quality, testable code with unit tests.
Able to take responsibility for features, design, build and track them using agile processes.
Excellent experience with PHP frameworks.
Excellent Object-Oriented PHP skills and knowledge of design patterns.
Web services and APIs.
Development on Linux/Unix based systems and good knowledge of Linux.
Requirements analysis and technical documentation.
Familiarity with Agile processes.
Excitement about emerging software and web technologies.
Symfony / Doctrine.
Ansible / Docker.
Good knowledge of a scripting language (Perl, ruby, shell etc)
Experience with continuous integration and/or continuous delivery.
Experience working with version control systems such as GIT.
Familiar with virtualisation.
Experience with payment providers, payment gateways.
Qualifications and Experience:
Preferably a bachelor degree, with a technical major, such as computer science or engineering.
Extensive commercial development experience.
