The Integration Engineering division of Rockwell Collins is a world leading aircraft interiors integrator offering airlines and OEM’s Engineering Services, Standard and Bespoke Monuments Designs & Manufacturing, and Certification Services through FAA-ODA designation.

As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a General Accountant in our Integration Engineering business located in Everett, WA.


Reporting to the Controller, the General Accountant applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepares financial reports.


  • Following general instructions and with discretion as to work details, performs accounting tasks of a difficult nature requiring an experienced, professional knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in such areas as inventory receipts, disbursements, expenses, applicable taxes, and jobs costing.

  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy.

  • Prepares balance sheet entries in support of consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports.

  • May design, modify, install, and/or maintain accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions.

  • Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures.

  • Performs detailed accounting tasks requiring a basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Prepares journal entries, assists with month end close.

  • Maintains corporate ledgers, reconciles and analyzes specific general ledger and cost account ledgers.

  • Coordinates accounting matters with other departments such as Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Tax.

  • Interprets accounting data, analyzes reports and recommends action to be taken.

  • Assists in the development, testing and installation of accounting systems, procedures and controls.

  • Engages in Lean activities.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools.

  • Performs other related duties as required.


Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Inventory transactions in both a moving average cost environment and/or standard cost.

  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
