The Lavatories division of Rockwell Collins is the sole source lavatory provider for the Boeing 737 MAX program. As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Inspector in our Lavatories business located in Everett, WA.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Inspector inspects parts, assemblies, and finishes product to drawings and specifications.
Performs a variety of complex electromechanical inspections in the production/assembly process through final system assembly.
Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies and materials.
Performs complex and critical inspection procedures requiring special set-up of new or unique equipment and interpretation of test data from a variety of sources.
May conduct first article inspection of parts, assemblies, equipment and tooling.
Performs other duties as required
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.
Minimum two years related experience and/or training.
Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Ability to use equipment, such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, oscilloscopes, and component testers.
