The Lavatories & Water Waste Systems division of Rockwell Collins is the sole source lavatory provider for the Boeing 737 MAX program. As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Manufacturing Supervisor in our Lavatories & Water Waste Systems business located in Everett, WA.
Reporting to the Manufacturing/Operations Manager the Manufacturing Supervisor Implements activities in production unit to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives, to include supervision of nonexempt associates involved in production, assembly, subassembly or fabrication operations; by performing the following duties.
Reviews and prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, efficiency, materials supply and personnel resources; assigns associates to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements.
Informs assigned associates of production and/or material problems and coordinates with support groups to resolve operational problems affecting schedules.
Participates in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures.
Develops schedules and personnel requirements for assigned areas; maintains a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, methods, and other manufacturing aspects.
Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of associates, with a portion of time spent performing individual tasks related to the unit.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school; and one-to-three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
