As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Quality Systems Engineer in our Lavatories business located in Everett, WA.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Quality Manager, The Quality Systems Engineer ensures that Quality Systems procedures are current and compliant while executing key Quality System functions and processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports creation and publication of monthly quality metrics report(s) as required

  • Keep abreast of development affecting the quality systems aspects of CM for the purpose of recommending new programs

  • Supports quality systems integration projects as a result of acquisitions, mergers, or organizational changes

  • Identify quality systems training needs. Create training materials and deliver as appropriate.

  • Provide system administrator support for quality systems & management including RCCA, metrics, audits, and software applications.

  • Performs professional Quality Engineering assignments of considerable complexity under limited direction with considerable discretion as to work details.

  • Designs, installs and continually evaluates complex quality assurance and/or control methods and systems to insure the continuing compliance of product quality.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; and 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100/9102/9120 quality standards.

  • Experience with RCCA

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of FAA requirements specific to FAR part 21.

  • Previous audit experience

  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma / Lean principles.
