SMR designs and manufactures a variety of custom products for the aerospace, industrial and marine industries. SMR is located in Fenwick, WV -just east of Summersville, WV.

As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Manufacturing Supervisor position in our De-Icing Systems business located in Fenwick, West Virginia.


Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Manufacturing Supervisor will Implement activities in production unit to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives, to include supervision of nonexempt employees involved in production, assembly, subassembly or fabrication operations.


+ + Review and prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, efficiency, materials supply and personnel resources

  • Assign associates to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements.

  • Inform assigned associates of production and/or material problems and coordinate with support groups to resolve operational problems affecting schedules.

  • Participate in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures.

  • Develop schedules and personnel requirements for assigned areas.

  • Maintain a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, methods, and other manufacturing aspects.


Associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year College or technical school; and at least three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
