As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including an Assembler in our Executive Aircraft Seating business located in Medley, FL.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Assembler will be responsible to perform electronic, electromechanical or mechanical production sub-assembly and assembly operations to build up and assemble units of moderate complexity by performing the following duties.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Works from production/assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components.
Identifies and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units.
Utilizes small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.
Perform other duties as required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bilingual- English and Spanish.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
