We are currently searching for a Industrial Engineering Co-op (Fall 2018) to join our team in Melbourne, FL (1050). A comprehensive relocation package is available for qualified candidates. Job Summary

This position orients the co-op student to the engineering environment. It can include assignments in an industrial engineering discipline. This position is an extension/addition to the student's educational and career development.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work in a cross-functional team and may participate in a number of the below activities:

  • Creation, testing and implementation of fixtures to be used during produciton

  • Eliminate/reduce defects and improve quality and test yields

  • Perform root cause and take corrective action to resolve failures

  • Resolve production issues

  • Perform production cell layout optimization

  • Implement and improve standard work.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (Green Card) is required

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Must have good organizational skills and the ability to achieve results through good communication skills and teamwork.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
