We are currently searching for a Industrial Engineering Co-op (Fall 2018) to join our team in Melbourne, FL (1050). A comprehensive relocation package is available for qualified candidates. This position orients the co-op student to the engineering environment. It can include assignments in an industrial engineering discipline. This position is an extension/addition to the student's educational and career development.
The selected candidate will work in a cross-functional team and may participate in a number of the below activities:
Creation, testing and implementation of fixtures to be used during produciton
Eliminate/reduce defects and improve quality and test yields
Perform root cause and take corrective action to resolve failures
Resolve production issues
Perform production cell layout optimization
Implement and improve standard work.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (Green Card) is required
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Must have good organizational skills and the ability to achieve results through good communication skills and teamwork.
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
