Job Summary

This position is intended for an Electrical Engineer that has experience in electro-mechanical control equipment. The target systems include reeling systems (electrical and hydraulic,) antenna load systems and other related products. The candidate will also be called upon to diagnose and provide repair guidance for assemblies returned for repair as well as assist development teams with high power transmit systems. This position requires working with high-voltage 400Hz/3 phase systems. Some travel may be required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of electro-mechanical products, often incorporating 400Hz/3 phase power

  • Assist in the development of processing systems incorporating 3rd-party industrial controllers

  • Ability to diagnose legacy modules utilizing available documentation and test procedures

  • Ability to create schematics, interconnect drawings and other design documents

  • Participate in design reviews

  • Assist in product validation at a system level

  • Assist in troubleshooting across multiple modules

  • Individual job duties may vary.

Basic Qualifications

  • Multiple years’ experience developing test solutions, system design and system troubleshooting

  • Experience in developing products for DoD customers

  • Ability to write effective documentation including test procedures and design documentation.

  • Proven experience working with development and manufacturing teams

  • Experience working with Electrical and Hydraulic systems on Aircraft

  • An active DoD security clearance is strongly desired, but the ability to obtain a clearance is required

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline.

  • Must be a US Citizen
