Altis Aero Systems, a B/E Aerospace Company, is located in Savannah, GA and specializes in the design, development and manufacture of tubular systems for the aerospace industry.

As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Quality Engineer in our Altis Aero Systems business located in Savannah, GA.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Engineer will plan and direct activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials and products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, install and continually evaluate complex quality assurance and/or control methods and systems

  • Design fixtures and processes to insure the continuing maintenance of product quality; may conduct vendor visits to insure quality; analyze reports and returned products to determine quality trends and recommend correction action

  • Participate in materials review activities to determine material disposition

  • Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods

  • Assign work to inspectors and technicians

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university and two years’ experience –-OR- or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience working with FAI AS9100 or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a highly regulated industry, especially aerospace
