As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Senior Supervisor – International Logistics in our Global Aftermarket business located in Winston-Salem, NC.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Manager – Manufacturing/Operations, the Senior Supervisor – International Logistics will supervise warehouse operations to ensure that orders are received, stocked, selected, packaged, loaded, dispatched safely, efficiently and in a timely manner; maintain proper records and accurate inventory; supervise exempt and nonexempt associates.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote accuracy, productivity and safety through effective training, constructive feedback to employees and the effective layout of the warehouse

  • Maintain physical inventory accuracy through weekly cycle counts and audits

  • Utilize knowledge about shipment of hazardous materials, application of customs regulations and the receipt maintenance and shipment of foreign trade zone inventory

  • Utilize wireless transaction systems and execute resource planning

  • Anticipates staff needs, schedules personnel, assigns work, and maintains records of employee attendance and performance

  • Meet daily objectives and ensures the on time delivery of available inventory and dock to stock goals are met in an effective manner

  • Lead continuous improve initiatives within their assigned area

  • Performs other related duties as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Experienced in the use of wireless transaction systems and resource planning

  • Global Trade Compliance experience

  • Customs/International Shipping experience
