As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Sr. Supply Chain Analyst in our Seating New Equipment business located in Winston-Salem, NC.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for maintaining, extracting, manipulating and analyzing data in support of supply chain initiatives including but not limited to cost reduction, sourcing plans, inventory reduction and strategic planning. This position also has responsibility for supporting, supplier development in line with scorecard activity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage plans to support departmental goals on SMI, (Inventory Reduction)

  • Develop and manage cost down initiatives in line with department goals.

  • Monitors, supports and trains for the Supply Chain Management systems.

  • Performs data manipulation and system development to support Purchasing, Materials Management and Strategic Sourcing.

  • Interprets data and provide recommendations and /or defines trends that result in cost reductions, improved efficiency or quality improvement

  • Analyzes current operational procedures and practices, identify problems and provide technical assistance to meet user requirements.

  • Develops and administers the Key Performance Indicator data.

  • Trains new additions to the Supply Chain staff on procedures and practices.

  • Performs Buyer responsibility as workload demands

  • Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including the following:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment as commodity or project buyer

  • Experience with MRP / ERP systems.

  • Previous experience in the use of JD Edwards, Atlas, Microsoft Office, Internet applications and Power Steering.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Master Planning Scheduling (MPS)

  • Background in the development of long term Supply Agreements.

  • Experience with data collection and Key Performance Indicator development.

  • Solid background in RFQ/RFP development.
